Hi there, I’m Silvia Ospina!

I am a professional designer, artist, and teacher living and working in between London and Barcelona.

I was born in Colombia and moved to Barcelona with my family when I was a teenager. My mum is an art teacher, and my dad is a musician, so I guess you could say I got my creative genes from them.

I love to work across various creative fields, like graphic design and branding, illustration, mural art, textile, photography, and music.  

I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with painting techniques and digital tools such as Photoshop and Procreate. Mixing analog and digital techniques can bring endless creative possibilities to any creative project. After discovering how to turn my watercolor paintings into repeating patterns, I had the joy of seeing my artworks in stores such as Zara, Mango and Zara Home, amongst other high street brands.

I decided to start teaching in 2018 as a way to give others everything that I’ve learned throughout my career. Teaching gave me a sense of purpose and connection I had never felt before!

I’ve hosted three Art and Design workshops at the V&A Museum in London, and I’m a proud Top Teacher on Skillshare (6 classes with over 10,000 students worldwide!)
